MEET ME AND MY INSPIRATION
Hi Everyone!
My name is Karolina. I'm 19 Years Old.
I'm from Poland and I live in small town- Karpacz (this town is in the mountains) but now I move on Leicester and start new chapter in my life.
I have older brother who study law in Poland. He's name is Patryk. He is very funny and we always write when we have a problem. This is important to have support in your older brother ;)
I can't believe I'm in here and I'm writing now this post and learn new things. I think this year will be hard for me but also very interesting and I hope I will be better than I'm now.
I'm person who take inspiration from everything, sometimes enough look at a simple things and in my head born new ideas.
But the biggest inspiration is Coco Chanel her style was amazing and different than other people (and I love that, because for me the most important thing is to be myself not someone that the rest of people wanted me to be).
Chanel was credited in the post- World War I era liberating women from the constraints of the "corseted silhouette" and popularizing a sporty, casual chic as the feminine standard of style.

Gabrielle Bonheur "Coco" Chanel
Chanel was credited in the post- World War I era liberating women from the constraints of the "corseted silhouette" and popularizing a sporty, casual chic as the feminine standard of style.
Her ideas: knitted dresses and costumes, hairstyles, turtlenecks, jewelry (long strings of pearls, chains, plastic jewelry), "little black" (dress), pants - bells, duster were received. with enthusiasm and considered a classic canon of elegance.
BUT
Come on who don't like Casula clothes?
Thanks for this. Please do chat with tutors about using 'white space'. Feel free to tell us more about fashion!
ReplyDeleteThank you for introducing yourself to the group and showing your inspiration; Coco Chanel. Don't forget to source the images you include in your blog by adding the website address (at the very least), or a full reference - see the tutor blogs for examples of this.
ReplyDeletePlease do post photos and ideas (maybe pages from your sketch book?) created by the group. You should share your images within the group so that you can all use them. Of course, your writing in your blog is individual, but this project is group-based.
ReplyDeleteIn this post you have collected all the information that were needed.Good job
